i-Mesh

i-Mesh is a technical, innovative, sustainable and fully customizable fabric created for architecture, design and art. It is the result of advanced, patented, award-winning technology conceived after years of research in multiple fields.

i-Mesh comes in six solutions, including four natural (basalt fiber, carbon fiber, glass fiber and volcano fiber) and two man-made (technora and zylon). Several melangized fiber versions are also available. i-Mesh is produced only in the form of custom-made panels, made to meet each customer’s needs.

TECHNOLOGY

LIGHT RESPONSE
When used in front of a window, i-Mesh is an excellent light diffuser as it reduces the annoyance of glare while producing a higher level of lumens within the space, maintaining a high level of visual comfort.

LIGHTNESS
The fibers we use have the best tensile strength-to-weight ratio and are placed only where needed. The result is a lightweight material: this means cheaper shipping costs, compact dimensions and low energy consumption.

FIRE RESISTANCE
i-Mesh is certified Class A according to ASTM and Class B-s1-d0 according to European standards: the best in terms of fire resistance in the construction market, suitable for public installations.

NATURAL VENTILATION
The permeability of i-Mesh panels allows for natural ventilation in both vertical applications, such as facades, and horizontal applications, such as roofing.

THERMAL COMFORT
i-Mesh is classified as a cooling material that reflects solar radiation. The use of i-Mesh on facades improves indoor thermal comfort during the warmer months. Cooling properties are enhanced by its permeability, which allows constant natural ventilation.

ZERO-WASTE PHILOSOPHY
With conventional fabrics, processors purchase rolls of material and create a significant amount of waste by turning the fabric into a panel. With i-Mesh, no industrial waste is generated because they are custom-produced, exactly in the desired shape and pattern.

DURABILITY
Aging tests and installations in extreme weather conditions show no change in material performance or color over time.
